About Metta's Name
For those who are curious, I inherited my given name "Metta" from my maternal grandmother, and "Zetty" is the Pennsylvania Dutch surname I inherited from my father.
It was only years later, when studying Asian Religions in college, that I discovered "metta" means loving kindness in the Southeast Asian language of Pali ~ and it is one of the primary 12 Buddhist virtues.
